Dr. Akhu's Playshop Series for Sacred Healing and Inner Peace
Join me for a transformational series of virtual and in-person Playshops designed to help you reconnect with peace, reclaim your power, and heal in community. Each experience is rooted in the principles of spiritual grounding, ancestral healing, nervous system regulation, and embodied self-care.Â
Why “Playshop” Instead of “Workshop”?
Dr. Akhu uses the term Playshop intentionally to signal a shift in energy and approach. These gatherings are not about fixing yourself or working harder—they’re about exploration, embodiment, and restoration. Through movement, story, reflection, and sensory practices, Playshops invite participants to engage with healing as a creative and joyful process, not a chore. It’s serious growth, approached with softness, permission, and a touch of play.
Scholarships available upon request.
We recognize that healing work should be accessible. A limited number of scholarships are available for those with financial need. Please reach out directly to request support—no lengthy application required.

Sacred Nourishment: Reclaiming Peace Through Taste

Price: $97
Scholarships available upon request
Includes: Sacred Spoonfuls: Exploring the Foods That Connect Us (exclusive

Together, we’ll reflect on the spiritual and emotional wisdom held in the foods we eat, and how small, intentional shifts in the way we nourish ourselves can restore calm and presence.
Dr. Akhu will share insights about the link between taste, peace, and cultural memory, followed by a pair-and-share on family or personal food rituals. Then, with a small item you've brought to eat (such as dried fruit, chocolate, or a nut), you’ll be guided through a sacred tasting meditation to deepen your awareness. The session
closes with journaling and a community reflection on how to bring reverence and
grounding back to your relationship with food—bite by bite.
